Title Misuse Reporting Form

This form is used to report the misuse of the title Registered Veterinary Technician.  

Per the practice Act Oklahoma Title Protection law is written as " It shall be unlawful for any person to use any recognized title, abbreviation, or sign to indicate that such person is a registered veterinary technician, unless that person has been certified as having met the qualifications provided for in the Oklahoma Veterinary Practice Act. "

Title Misuse defined as: Addressing yourself or others as the title "veterinary technician/vet tech" WITHOUT having graduated from an AVMA accredited technology program or its equivalent, and has not been certified by the State Board.

This is an anonymous form and no information regarding this complaint is divulged to those being reported. 

All reports are collected and sent to OSBVME every Friday for the Board to review on Monday.
